For people who care about Britain’s canals and rivers
Several sections of the Thames & Severn Canal have been ploughed up and filled in, and no longer support the vibrant ecosystem they once did. However, those parts still in water - such as the beautiful descent through the Golden Valley from Sapperton Tunnel west to Chalford - have much to interest the wildlife enthusiast or botanist.
