Fishing along the Union Canal

From Edinburgh to Falkirk, you will find pike, perch, roach, carp and tench. There is no close season. Stretches of the canal are leased to angling clubs, including the Linlithgow Coarse Angling Club.

You need a permit to fish on the Lowland Canals through the
Lowland Canal Angling Partnership – Scotland (LCAPS)
