Wellington Country Park

An angler at Wellington Country Park, Wokingham

Within Wellington Country Park is a lake, man-made through the extraction of gravel, which is used for recreational activities today. The park forms part of the Duke of Wellington's estate, and is near to Stratfield Saye House, home to the Dukes of Wellington since 1817.

A total of 350 acres of beautiful natural woodland has been developed to be enjoyed by the public; whether camping or caravanning, picnicking or walking. Boating is not permitted on the lake. Fishing is available to members only.
