River Severn»

This festival based in Stourport features the largest land and river parade in Britain, as well as an illuminated light parade along the River Severn.

There will be something for all the family, with trade stalls, refreshments, a fun fair and an entertainment arena. Local radio station, Sunshine Radio will be there both days providing musical entertainment, organising games and handing out prizes. There will also be live musical performances in the form of Midlands bands, The Moonshakers; Drowning In Deuce; and Cleobury Mortimer Concert Brass.

Children are sure to love watching the performances put on by The Bangers & Mash Theatre Company, who use acting, puppets, songs and games to keep their audiences captivated. Appearances by clowns, Brum and Dudley will also delight both adults and kids alike.

Saturday evening closes with a fireworks display, and there will be a £250 prize draw on the Sunday.

Admission is free. For more information call Pete Roberts on 01299 879340 or visit the website.
