World of bats

Bats make up a third of the UK's mammal population, so come and see some for yourself at Rye Meads Nature Reserve.

Come and see the reserve’s very own batman, Roger Havard, whose slides and demonstrations will teach you more about these fascinating mammals. Then take a guided walk round the reserve to look for some bats. The event runs from 7pm – 9pm and may overrun, please note that booking and prepayment is essential.

This event is free for RSPB members, for non-members prices are as follows - adult £4, child or concessionary £2.50 and family £7 – join the RSPB at Rye Meads on the day, and your event fee will be refunded.
