Otter Country Sports open day

Ever wanted to try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing or archery? If yes then make sure you pay a visit to the Otter Country Sports Open Day, held at the Deer Park Hotel Country Estate by the River Otter.

Organisers have laid on a huge programme of events, which includes a falconry display, fly tying and rod making demonstrations, beginners’ lessons in fly fishing, archery and shooting, and a beach-casting demonstration by world champion Dennis Retter.

There will also be a raffle, trade stands, and an authentic spit roast with refreshments. The open day begins at 9.30 am and entry is free. Families and dogs are welcome.
