Broads green boat show

The third annual Broads Green Boat Show will be held at Salhouse Broad on Sunday 21 September.

This private broad provides a picturesque setting for a family friendly event, which showcases green products such as boats, motors, solar panels and environmentally friendly accessories. There will be opportunities to talk to the owners of electric boats and have a go on canoes, kayaks, and pedal and paddle boats. A traditional jazz band will provide further entertainment, and delicious refreshments will be available throughout the day.

This is the only green boat show taking place in the UK, and exhibitors are greatly encouraged take up a marquee. Outside there will also be areas for larger exhibits, and on-water facilities for displaying boats and launching smaller craft.

An electric water taxi will be transporting visitors from Wroxham, and for those coming by road there is extra parking and good access for the disabled. Judging by past events this will prove to be another fantastic day out, and an opportunity to learn more about how to help the planet.
