Enjoy an amazing free family day out at the Glasgow River Festival, taking place from 19 - 20 July.
The weekend kicks off with a display of historical boats on the beautiful River Clyde, where these captivating vessels are free of charge to board only at the Glasgow River Festival. Then later on the River Clyde springs to life with an exhilarating jet-ski demo. Visitors can take part in zapcat taster sessions and powerboat rides, if they're brave enough, and children won't fail to be entertained by the charity duck race either.
Boat trips along the Clyde offer more relaxed entertainment whilst a wide variety of activities and attractions on land ensure that the fun never stops. These events include rowing activities, live music and dance, funfair rides, street entertainment, Chinese performances from the local community, a farmer's market, and Glasgow’s first ever beach volleyball tournament.
This event takes place on both sides of the River Clyde, from Squinty Bridge to Yorkhill Quay. For more information visit www.glasgowriverfestival.co.uk.
