The Grantham Canal Partnership has commissioned a study for the creation of a ‘Green Infrastructure’ landscape corridor between the River Trent and Cotgrave Country Park. This consultation evening invites stakeholders and the public to express their views regarding the proposals.
The key features of the corridor would be a navigable link between the Grantham Canal and the River Trent, and a multi-use route for pedestrians and cyclists.
Four route options for the canal link have already been looked at previously, the study will revisit these and identify a preferred route, as well considering new route options based on the study’s investigations. The event is open to the public from 1.30pm – 7pm, and invited guests from 10.30am – 1pm.
