'Enjoying Water in the Midlands’ workshop

09 February 2010

Telford
Shropshire

The Environment Agency is inviting anyone who is interested in shaping the future of water-related sports and activities in the Midlands, to a free consultation workshop entitled ‘Enjoying Water in the Midlands'.

The session will run from 11am to 3pm and lunch will be provided. There are 50 spaces available at the workshop, and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

The EA is interested in hearing from both individuals and groups, and from people with any interest in activities along their rivers, including anglers, boaters and ramblers.

'Enjoying Water in the Midlands' aims to develop a plan that sets out where new or improved water-related sport and recreation opportunities can best be placed to deliver the greatest benefits to the region, and the people who live there.

To book a space or for more information please write to Enjoying Water in the Midlands, Environment Agency, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB or email enjoying_water_in_the_midlands@environment-agency.gov.uk.
