Fox

A fox normally has fur of a red/brown colour, although sometimes they are found to have black and silvery fur. They have large, bushy tails which often have a white tip.

Did you know?

  • Foxes will eat whatever they can find – from chickens, rats, fruit, berries and even your left over pizza!
  • They are nocturnal so the best time to look out for foxes is at dusk or dawn;
  • If you see a fox you are lucky as they are very quiet and very careful;
  • The tail of a fox can grow as long as 50cm.
