Over 60 vessels, including both workboats and leisure craft, are being put forward by British Waterways (BW) for sale in an online auction which closes on 28 September.
The boats have become available as a result of BW's fleet replacement programme and Section 8 repossessions. However, BW has ensured that no vessels of heritage value will be included in the online auction. Instead, heritage craft will be disposed of seperately to canal trusts and other interested bodies.
