John Craven reveals his top ten canals

Yorkshire-born TV presenter John Craven has been speaking to the BBC’s Countryfile magazine about his top ten waterways around the UK.
John, who is currently vice president of The Waterways Trust and presenter of the current affairs programme, Countryfile, discusses his favourite canals in the June issue of the monthly magazine.
In the article, John talks about his local canal and makes suggestions of what you can do to explore the areas around his favourite waterways.
He also explains why the Lancaster Canal is the best canal for birdwatching and the Pocklington Canal is the best for wildlife.
