Moor on the Middle Level

25th Aug 2005

Boaters in Eastern England now have more choice of where to moor their boat.

For the first time, the Middle Level Commissioners are to sell permanent moorings on several of their waterways where these have not previously been offered. The waterways include the Forty Foot, Sixteen Foot, Twenty Foot, Popham's Eau, Bevill's Leam, King's Dyke, New Dyke and the Whittlesey Dyke.

Moorings can be rented on an annual basis, from 1st April to 31st March, or for part of a year.

Boaters who are interested in the opportunity should contact the Middle Level Commissioners on 01354 653232, e-mail meltonb@middlelevel.co.uk, or write to Middle Level Offices, Dartford Road, March, Cambridgeshire PE15 8AF.
