The timbered 15th-century building has an ideal setting in the heart of an unspoilt village.

Long Crendon Courthouse is a two-storeyed building and a good example of early timber frame construction. The whitewashed façade is enlivened with streaks of colour from red hand-made tiles. Steep wooden stairs lead visitors directly from the street to the large spacious upper floor. Originally used as a wool store, this historic structure housed sessions of the manorial courts from the reign of Henry V to the reign of Queen Victoria.
