Houghton Mill lies midway between Huntingdon and St Ives in Cambridgeshire. It is owned by The National Trust and is a listed Grade 2 watermill on the River Great Ouse. Some of the mill dates back as far as the 17th Century. The recently restored watermill grounds corn and milling takes place on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays, with the flour for sale. Other attractions at the mill are hands-on models, an interpretation gallery (July and August) and temporary exhibitions. There is also a riverside tearoom.
