Cycling in Cheshire
It's not too flat, it's not too hilly and it boasts the captivating scenery of the Pennines - without the steep climbs. Cheshire is perfect cycling country. Follow the path of the Cheshire Cycleway through trademark friendly villages and verdant countryside with good views of the canals. Almost all of the Trent & Mersey Canal is open to cyclists - although some sections are heavily locked, particularly the 'Cheshire Locks'. Please take care when cycling downhill past locks and do not speed.
