Walking in Cumbria
This stunning corner of the North west is a haven for walkers of all abilities. Whether you’re scaling Scafell Pike or enjoying a family stroll around Derwentwater, the views are truly inspirational and (if your route is not circular) there’s always a different path to follow on the way back. Follow in the footsteps of Wordsworth around Grasmere or explore the streets of historic Keswick. To get away from the crowd, head for one of the lesser-known lakes such as Crummock Water or Ennerdale Water.
