This former alehouse now houses an exhibition of 17th Century furniture, local itinerant exhibitions and shows a video telling the story of the famous revolution which gives the Revolution House its name. For t'was here where the Earl of Devonshire, the Earl of Danby and Mr John D'Arcy met to plan the successful revolution which led to James II fleeing to France and being replaced by William and Mary of Orange.
