Boating in Devon
The River Exe is popular with rowers and canoeists, and both commercial and leisure boats. For a more unusual boating holiday, get afloat on the Bridgwater & Taunton Canal which is isolated from the rest of the waterway network and has highly unusual designs of locks and swing bridges – definitely worth a look. For something a little different, hire a canoe on the River Tamar.
