Fishing in Devon

Devon achieved fame among the angling community in 1924 when a 64lb salmon was caught in the River Exe. But fishing here is not the preserve of the experienced few: new and leisure anglers can try their luck at catching salmon, trout, perch, roach and bream on the Exeter Ship Canal and renowned River Exe.
