Cycling in Essex

Essex is a great county to explore by bike; the waterways are peaceful, the hills are gentle and the views exceptional. Cycle along the path of the remote Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation, perhaps stopping for a well-earned pint in a village pub before continuing to the River Blackwater. You can stick to the towpath or take a detour through ancient woodlands. Wherever you pedal, the next bend of the road brings something new to admire.
