Gloucester

Overlooked by the Cotswold Hills, Gloucester is the quintessential Cathedral city and a vibrant waterside destination.

Once the gateway for waterbourne traffic into the midlands, Gloucester Docks are today famed for their bustling shops, restaurants and Victorian warehouses. Wander around the colourful marina, admire the historic Mariners Church and don’t forget to visit the National Waterways Museum - with boat trips, blacksmiths and a peerless boat collection which promises to keep the whole family entertained.

Walking to work in Gloucester
People lucky enough to work in offices off Quay Street, Barrack Square and similar are within easy walking distance of the River Severn and Gloucester Docks – so there’s never a shortage of places to go at lunchtime or for an after work drink. Riverside picnics in the summer break up the working day very nicely, and you can always go for a relaxing waterside stroll after a hard day at your desk.
