Cycling near Gloucester

The Vale of Gloucestershire is a cyclist's dream. Not only is it beautiful - but it's almost flat.

The Gloucester & Sharpness Canal towpath is part of the National Cycle Network route 41, and offers great biking routes for cyclists of all abilities. There’s plenty for all the family to explore in the Cotswold Water Park and the gentle Avon valley has many quiet country roads which are ideal for a leisurely cycle ride.
