Adjacent to the River Thames, this Listed Tudor farmhouse was built in 1570 and lies on the edge of the village of Kelmscott.
In 1871, the Manor was chosen as the summer home of William Morris, who signed the lease with painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
Morris saw the house blending in wonderfully with the village of Kelmscott and the countryside surrounding it.
The Society of Antiquaries of London owns and manages Kelmscott Manor.
