The Pump Shed

The Pump Shed is an ideal place for those needing some refreshments. Serving tea, coffee,cakes, savoury snacks and ice creams, it is only a short distance from the centre of Bath. The Pump House is situated at Lock 11 on the Kennet & Avon Canal in Widcombe. Mooring points are just nearby as is bicycle hire and boat trips and is the location for the start and finish of many beautiful walks going from Bristol to as far as Reading.

The building's chimney is a monument to days gone by as The Pump Shed is positioned on the site of the original pumping station.

The World Heritage City of Bath is only a short walk and has many attractions such as Roman Baths and Pump Room, the Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge and wonderful shops.

The Pump Shed is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
