Breathtaking scenery is your unfaltering companion on any waterside walk in beautiful Herefordshire. Follow the route of the River Wye along the Wye Valley Walk which takes you through rich farmland, with many country pubs and B&Bs conveniently located for rest and re-fuelling during your journey. What better way to banish thoughts of aching limbs than with Hereford beef or Marches lamb washed down with local wine or cider?

Towpath Stoppages

06 Feb 2012 - 30 Mar 2012

Towpath Closure only: Round Oak Bridge and Woodside Bridge

Associated Regional Office: West Midlands Waterways

The towpath will be closed between Round Oak Bridge (Waterfront Way) and Woodside Bridge (Pedmore Road) from the 6th February to the 30th March 2012 to enable the towpath to be resurfaced between the two bridges.

An alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists is available along local highway footpaths, where access can be made on to and off the towpath at either end of the works.
