RSPB Rye Meads Nature Reserve

This wetland reserve by the River Lee is home to some of the most graceful and beautiful birds Britain has to offer, such as the kingfisher and the kestrel.

Rye Meads follows a large programme of events throughout the year; hosting such things as guided walks and family fun days, which means it’s a great place to bring small children.

Rye Meads offers many nature trails that are accessible to wheelchair users, and entry to the whole reserve is free.
