Cycling in Lancashire
Cyclists in Lancashire may have a rugged landscape to contend with, but they are amply rewarded with stunning views.
But if hills are not your thing, the level towpaths of Lancashire’s waterways may offer a solution. Cyclists can get about in Lancaster along the Lancaster Canal, the Leeds & Liverpool Canal and the two exciting miles of new cycleway now open along the Ribble Link. To cycle here you will need a British Waterways cycle permit.
