Windmill Animal Farm

This charming farm is an exciting wonderland for kids, and the perfect day out for families and small children.

The Windmill Animal Farm offers a fun and totally interactive experience, with a special Children’s Pet Area and opportunities to touch, play with, and feed the animals.

Adults can observe the inner workings of a farm, or maybe just relax with a hot drink from the café, whilst the kids take advantage of the massive indoor play barn. With a ball pit, slides and climbing frames, the play barn will wear out adults and children alike. There are also two other outdoor play areas, and kids can enjoy riding round them on one of the farm’s many pedal tractors.

The miniature steam engine, which runs along a mile-long track is a great way to get around the farm. Sit back and enjoy the view, or get off halfway through the journey at the Lake View Play Area and explore the pretty scenery for yourself. The train runs every half hour from 11am until 4.30pm, so if you’re really worn out at the end of the day, jump back on it and let it take you back.
