Gainsborough Old Hall is a large timber-framed medieval house dating back to the 15th century. Originally a 13th Century manor house stood here, none of which remains today. Its main attractions are its magnificent Great Hall and strong brick tower.

Famous guests include King Richard lll in 1483 and King Henry Vlll in 1541.

This is an English Heritage site.

Opening hours
Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm; Sunday 1pm - 4:30pm

Gainsborough Old Hall is closed Sundays from November to Easter and also Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
