This beautiful example of medieval brick architecture was opened to the public in 1914. It has four floors, each boasting a great chamber with Gothic stone fireplaces. There is also an impressive fortified tower with roof-top courtyard and battlement walkway, from which, at 33.5 metres high, wonderful views of Lincoln can be enjoyed.
