Located close to trendy Islington, the town of Hackney is a thriving community with excellent access to the City, yet close by the peaceful Lee Valley Park.
The town stands near to the banks of the River Lee, the River Roding and also the Bow Back Rivers, which are set for some dramatic improvements in time for the 2012 Olympics.
Lee Valley Park offers some great walks for Hackney residents so after a busy day at the office, why not put on some comfy shoes and go to discover the wildlife. If cycling’s more your thing, jump on your bike and head along the towpaths, carefully passing other towpath users on your way. Take a chain to lock up your bike and reward yourself with a relaxing drink in a waterside pub, feeling the stresses of the day ebb away as you watch the narrowboats cruise past.
