The museum displaysover 2000 years ofhistory of the Thames, the port and the local people from the Romans until the construction of Canary Wharf.

The museum has over 12 permanent maingalleries andis spread over five floors of a superb late Georgian warehouse on West India Quay. There is also a programme of temporary exhibitions and events. Education services like performances, visits and lectures are held here, plus there aresuites for corporate and private hire, and a restaurant and shop.

The multi-media approach to the displays provides a gripping, interactive experience for every visitor.
