Tate Modern

Tate Modern is one of the four Tate Galleries in Britain and was set up to feature a large collection of modern and contemporary art. There is always a varied and interesting programme of displays, exhibitions and events, as well as courses and workshops you can attend.

Whether or not the art and eventsinside inspire you, bemuse youor simply defy understanding, the building in which the Tate Modern is housed -a conversion of the former Bankside Power Station - cannot fail to impress andappeal to your senses.

There are a number of shops and plenty of places to eat here too.
