The Wapping Project opened in 2000 within the 1890 power station at Wapping. It has a very diverse arts programme featuring all types of artists.
Well worth a visit is the award-winning Wapping Food Restaurant within the old Turbine and Engine Houses, where you can try out and later buy exhibition contemporary furniture.
