Interchange Warehouse

Oval Road
London

Interchange Warehouse is an impressive Grade II listed construction from around 1900 and linked the canal to the newly-built railway.

A small spur from the canal - known as Dead Dog Basin - runs underneath the building.

Goods were unloaded from the barges and taken by horse and cart to nearby railways, including one which actually ran into the building.
