Limehouse Accumulator Tower

Built in 1869, this octagonal tower was originally used to store water which provided the hydraulic power for the cranes and locks in Limehouse Basin.

The Limehouse Accumulator Tower is occasionally open for tours during events such as London Open House which takes place in September each year.
