Clydebank
One of the greatest shipbuilding towns of the 20th century, Clydebank owes much to its vibrant waterspace.
Both the River Clyde and the Forth & Clyde Canal flow through the centre, bringing with them an abundance of wildlife, colourful boats and welcoming waterside restaurants.
Locals can take advantage of the waterways, leave the car at home and walk along the towpath to school, work or the station. Offices in Kilbowie are ideally situated for taking a lunchtime stroll beside the canal – return to work refreshed and ready for whatever challenges lie ahead.
Days out in Clydebank
At the weekends, shopaholics seek solace in the Clyde Shopping Centre while friends and partners less inclined to bargain-hunt can take a canalside walk or cycle ride towards Boghouse locks. Meet up again in McMonagles and enjoy a fish and chip lunch while bobbing up and down in a restaurant boat.
Visitors from far and wide come to Clydebank for the Playdrome – one of Scotland’s premier venues. The Playdrome enjoys an enviable location, between the River Clyde and the Forth & Clyde Canal. After the show you can get a breath of fresh air along the towpath before heading home.
