This most famous of castles dominates Scotland's capital city and affords stunning views of the city and surrounding countryside. There is much to see within the confines of the Castle grounds, including St. Margaret's Chapel, a tiny Norman building which has stood intact for 900 years.
The Castle Esplanade is the venue for the world famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
