The Broads Wildlife Centre and Ranworth Broad are owned and managed by Norfolk Wildlife Trust ('NWT').

The Centre actually floats on the edge of the Broad and is a brilliant place for bird watching and admiring the views. A small exhibition inside explains the history of the Broads and the work of NWT.

The boardwalk makes up a nature trail through woodland and fen, to open water and the centre itself. Look out for butterflies, dragonflies, Great crested grebes and swallows.

If you prefer, take the electric ferryboat to the centre from Ranworth Staithe and spot the wildlife from and on the water.

Ranworth Broad itself is free from boat traffic - one of the few Broads with such an accolade - and as such is a tranquil haven in which to relax and be at one with nature.
