Cyclists keen to ride along the River Nene should beware of getting too accustomed to the easy level cycling available in Cambridgeshire - the rolling hills of Northamptonshire will soon have your heart pumping and your legs begging for a break.

Towpath Stoppages

Restriction: Lock 16W to 17W

Towpath has been closed

A retaining wall has collapsed onto the towpath between 16W and 17W on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal; as such the towpath has been closed for health and safety reasons. Navigation is not affected.

Pedestrians are requested to follow the diversion notices that are in place.
