Walking in Northumberland

From challenging hill walks to gentle waterside strolls, rural Northumberland is a veritable paradise for walkers. With more than 3,000 miles of paths to explore, you can take your pick of routes. Follow the winding course of the River Tweed – looking out for fishermen in their boats – and enjoy panoramic views over the rounded hills of Border country.
