A popular spot, Beeston Lock is made so by a historical circular walk and Attenborough Nature Reserve, which is located just a 10 minute walk away.

The circular walk is identified by an on-site plan and accompanying leaflet. There are also interpretation panels and plaques positioned around the site. Take a look and then quiz your friends with the facts you’ve learnt.

Beeston Marina has been serving boaters on the River Trent for over 100 years. The marina offers a chandlery, over 300 moorings, a café serving food and refreshments until 4pm each day and a riverside bar.

The towpath around Beeston Lock is wide and well-surfaced, so grab your bike and enjoy making your way around the site on two wheels.
