Thrupp

Thrupp is a pretty canalside village located to the North of Kidlington on the Oxford Canal.

From here the canal closely follows the line of the Cherwell Valley. Terrace houses line the towpath along this stretch of the Oxford Canal with two public houses in close proximity, the Jolly Boatman and the Boat Inn.

For boaters there is a British Waterways Maintenance Yard at Thrupp with refuse disposal, Elsan disposal point, waterpoint, moorings and toilets. A British Waterways key is required.
