Watch the dolphins leap at Lake Vyrnwy.

A 15 foot dragonfly hovers over the peaceful lake shore, badgers romp nearby and a giant hand threatens to scoop everything up. You’ve guessed it; this is the renowned Lake Vyrnwy Sculpture Park.

Since 1999, sculptors from Britain and the Baltic have met every September to contribute to the unique sculpture park at Lake Vyrnwy. The artists’ aim is to represent the interaction of man with the environment, using only materials such as timber and stone which can be found locally.

The International Sculpture Symposium is funded by Severn Trent Water and the Arts Connection.
