Housed in the early Victorian Brecknock Shire Hall, the museum explores local and natural history, as well as local archaeological finds. There are also fascinating exhibits on Welsh schools, kitchens, rural industry and crafts, furniture and art works, including a vibrant collection of modern Welsh artwork.
Best of all perhaps, is the large collection of Welsh love spoons.
