Walking near Cardiff

With a stout pair of walking boots you can loose yourself exploring some of the most beautiful parts of the UK, along the little-known rivers of South west Wales. There are numerous enjoyable walking stretches along the River Towy. Not least in the Dinas Reserve where a walk by the cascading Towy takes you through a romantic forest filled with the sound of birdsong. City dwellers can get away from it all without straying too far from home with a walk along the Swansea Canal - an attractive 'green corridor' through the city outskirts.

Cerdded yn y De-orllewin

Un o’r rhai gorau yw’r llwybr yng Ngwarchodfa Dinas sy’n mynd â chi, ger fwrlwm yr afon, drwy goedwig ramantus sy’n llawn s?n adar yn canu. Gall trigolion y ddinas ddianc rhag eu bywydau prysur heb orfod teithio’n bell drwy gerdded ar hyd Camlas Abertawe – ‘coridor gwyrdd’ deniadol ar gyrion y ddinas.
