Fishing in South west Wales

The River Teifi is lauded as the Queen of game fishing rivers. It is hardly surprising that its vast quantities of salmon, trout and sewin (sea trout) attract anglers from far and wide. If you view fishing as more of a spectator sport, head for the River Towy where local fishermen still head out in their traditional coracles (small boats originally covered with animal skins).

Pysgota yn y De-orllewin

Disgrifir yr Afon Teifi fel Brenhines afonydd pysgota. Nid oes syndod bod ei stociau helaeth o eog, brithyll a siwin yn denu pysgotwyr o bell ac agos. Os oes well gennych chi wylio na chymryd rhan, ewch i’r Afon Tywi i weld pysgotwyr lleol yn eu cwryglau traddodiadol (cychod bach oedd yn cael eu gorchuddio â chroen anifeiliaid yn wreiddiol).
