Maritime Swansea is a city of surprising beauty and impressive history.
From its colourful marina to its golden shoreline and rolling parklands, Swansea has more to offer than most visitors expect – and that’s before you get to the romantic castle, the international restaurants and the myriad of galleries, concert halls and theatres.
Take a wander along the banks of Swansea’s river, the beautiful Tawe which is now easier to navigate than ever thanks to its new tidal barrage. Cyclists can follow the route of the river on National Cycle Network route 43.
